West Ham have struggled to find consistency under Manuel Pellegrini in the Premier League this season and are likely to dip into the market in January.
The Hammers splashed in excess of £100m to bring the likes of Andriy Yarmolenko, Issa Diop and Felipe Anderson to East London but further additions are being targeted – with the name of an experienced former Premier League player floating about.
According to widespread reports, former Arsenal and Manchester City winger Samir Nasri will undergo a medical with the Hammers before signing on a free transfer in January – a deal that has raised eyebrows after his 18-month ban from football.
Capped 41 times for France, Nasri certainly has the experienced but questions remain as to where he would into a squad that already includes Marko Arnautovic, Yarmolenko, Felipe Anderson, Robert Snodgrass, Michail Antonio, Grady Diangana and Lucas Perez.

I think he can be a very good signing other then Anderson we don’t have any real creativity in midfield, If MP can get him motivated & playing again it could be a excellent signing & he can add alot of creativity to that midfield.6 months deal…

We are honestly the laziest/thickest club in the world when we buy players

Happy to give him a chance. Have to trust pellegrini on this one

He’s just after a final pay deal! No one else wants him! Through history, Hammers have gone for ‘past it’ players with mental or injury baggage – Jimmy Greaves, Stewart Robson, Carroll, Wilshere spring to mind…..! Nasri fits the bill!
