When the Hammers travelled to face Liverpool at Anfield on Monday night, the Hammers did not expect to see themselves fall to a 3-2 defeat owing to mistakes from their gloveman Lukasz Fabianski, but that’s what happened, and it seems the Pole is already forgiven by many of the Irons.
“I apologised in the dressing room. I do not think there is anything else I can say. I held my hands up and ‘I am really sorry for my efforts’.”
Head up, @LukaszFabianski. You’ve been incredible for us

The shot-stopper has now come out and apologised for his blunders on Merseyside, but you won’t find many fans who are holding this one against the ex-Arsenal man, as he’s certainly won more points for the Stratford club than he’s cost them with his superb goalkeeping displays.
The apology from the Hammers’ goalkeeper was published on the West Ham website (whufc.com), and the fans have taken it very well, quickly forgiving their star man and calling for him to get his head back up and get back out on the pitch performing again.
You can read the Irons’ thoughts on Fabianski here:
@LukaszFabianski keep your head up man you’ve been so good for us and you saved us countless times. I can’t remember another time you have made a mistake tbh. I feel I can speak on behalf of most West Ham fans that you are already forgiven

Can’t believe people are saying he should be dropped He’s been class for us and we would have been relegated last season without him

If any player should be forgiven from the fans it should be him

Already forgiven my Polish prince

He doesn’t have to be sorry he’s been our best goalkeeper in a while and one mistake doesn’t matter

The Irons love Fabianski, and those blunders at Anfield won’t change anything on that front.
