Plenty of West Ham United had their say regarding what the club should do regarding defender Aaron Cresswell.
The 30-year-old has been a regular starter in David Moyes’s side during the current campaign but has come under fire from the London Stadium faithful due to his inconsistency and poor defending.
Most recently, fans were not pleased with his defending during his side’s 1-0 defeat to Burnley after failing to pick up Jay Rodriguez zooming into the box.
Should Aaron Cresswell be sold in the summer?
Yes
No
Journalist Dan Woffenden attempted to stick up for Cresswell’s outing against the Hornets on Twitter, stating that he won four out of five ground duels and won three out of four aerial duels.
With this in mind, supporters insisted that Cresswell needs to be replaced in the summer and made their feelings clear on social media. One fan said that he is “absolutely dreadful”, while others said that the club has to upgrade and was called “hopeless”.
He was absolutely dreadful

We have to upgrade. He did ok but again he was caught out too many times. Cost us the Burnley game too with his pathetic attempt and actually doing nothing to stop the ball.

Did you watch the same game, he was hopeless.

He can’t keep his position, he can’t block a cross, he’s always in no mans land and he’s lost his ability to cross accurately.
Massive deterioration in form for three years now and easily our biggest weakness.
Just watch back the goals we concede, nearly all are from our left.— Neil Martin (@nmengland) July 19, 2020
Sell. His time has been and gone: has been a good servant to the club overall but lacks the pace needed now…. Plays too narrow for a FB as doesn’t want to be in a 1-on-1 against a pacey winger

We need a huge upgrade
