West Ham will have to search for potential suitors for 26 y/o after latest report – opinion

West Ham United will need to find a new potential suitor for Jordan Hugill, as Claret and Hugh are reporting that the striker will return to East London in the summer.

Hugill has been out on loan this season with Middlesbrough following his dismal time under David Moyes last season, but has even struggled to perform back in the Championship.

In his 27 games with Boro, 19 of which have been starts, the 26-year-old has only managed to return Tony Pulis’ trust with six goals, and has now lost the Welshman’s faith after it looked like he could opt to buy the forward at the end of the season.

If the Teesside club manage to secure promotion to the Premier League, as well, the chances of Pulis turning Hugill’s loan into a permanent arrangement are even slimmer.

As always, there will be clubs looking to add fresh attacker’s to their rosters when a new season comes around, and West Ham will have to hope one of the Championship’s current strugglers or sides promoted from League One feel Hugill has something to offer their attack.

If not, the reserves will have an experienced option to call upon.
