Manuel Pellegrini handed quadruple boost for Fulham clash that will delight fans

|

Manuel Pellegrini has been handed a mega boost as West Ham United expect to have four players return from injuries to face Fulham, according to Football.London.

Defensive ace Fabian Balbuena has been out of action recently with a knee problem, but the Paraguayan is in line to make his first appearance in 2019 against the Cottagers, having been sorely missed in the league defeats to Bournemouth and Wolves.

Jack Wilshere is also understood to be in line to make his first return to the senior squad this year, having fallen foul to an ankle injury once again in December, when the 27-year-old had looked to put his recurring strains behind him.

Ahead of the former Arsenal man could stand his ex-teammate Samir Nasri, as the Frenchman is the second of three midfielders who could feature at the London Stadium in some capacity having overcome his calf strain.

The final man to make up the three returning midfielders is Manuel Lanzini, which will delight the fanbase the most as the Argentine is yet to lace up his boots under Pellegrini.

If all four prove their fitness ahead of Friday, it will be a great sight for all as it would only leave the long-term absentees Andriy Yarmolenko, Winston Reid and Carlos Sanchez in the treatment room.
