“We are not going for him” – ExWHUEmployee reveals West Ham retract interest for January target

|

West Ham United are once again in a relegation fight. How have we found ourselves here again?

The 2019/20 campaign has been nothing short of a disaster after Manuel Pellegrini was sacked following our 2-1 defeat to Leicester City, which was his ninth loss in 12 games and left us perilously close to the drop zone, where we still remain.

David Moyes was brought in once more to fix the mess left by the clubs’ owners David Gold, David Sullivan and Karen Brady after he managed to retain our Premier League status in 2018 before leaving the club.

Having been linked with a move for Burnley manager Sean Dyche back in January, ExWHUEmployee updated fans on Twitter on the club’s stance regarding their pursuit for him.

This is disappointing news. Dyche has achieved a lot with Burnley since he took the job at Turf Moor in 2012, creating a stable ship at the Lancashire based outfit that West Ham are currently crying out for.

During that eight-year timeframe, he has accumulated a points-per-game average of 1.40 from 339 games, winning 128 games and scoring 406 goals, as per TransferMarkt.

Whatever the situation is, we at Vital West Ham feel that things will come to light eventually.

Should West Ham continue the pursuit for Sean Dyche?

Yes

No

No

It almost seems that the club hasn’t learned their lessons since Avram Grant came and went. Even though Moyes has been thrown into a difficult situation twice, we all know that he is not the right man to take us forward, through no fault of his own.

Gold, Sullivan and Brady need to have a long, hard look at themselves and decide whether they are committed to investing in the club to take us forward, as they promised.

The fact we are still having this discussion, almost four years after moving into the new stadium, is disgraceful.
