‘That need is so blatant’ – Loads of West Ham fans discuss what’s missing for Pellegrini

|

The summer transfer window is set to be a busy period at West Ham, and fans on the R/Hammers Reddit page have been discussing what area of the side needs improving the most.

From the replies, there are two key zones that Manuel Pellegrini should look to address in what will be his third window as our manager, but further reinforcements have to be considered depending on who leaves.

The top priority, though, seems to be an energetic central-midfielder who can break up play, control possession, and hit the opponent on the break, potentially coming to East London and replacing Mark Noble in the long run.

The other crucial area fans are keen to see improved is our full-backs, either by bringing in first-choice options or replacing the depth that Pablo Zabaleta and Arthur Masuaku provide.

A lot will also hinge on the decisions taken over Marko Arnautovic, Javier Hernandez and the deadwood crop the club will look to move on, as their presence in the roster will need to be accounted for.
