West Ham supporters are losing the last bit of faith that they have in their club. The Hammers need to see players come into the club and need to ensure that they stay in the Premier League, and with a thin squad, they ideally need to avoid letting go of anyone, maybe barring the atrocious Carlos Sanchez.
West Ham trying a “one in, one out” mantra. Understand the club is actively trying to sell Carlos Sanchez before the transfer deadline on Friday and a couple of Spanish clubs have shown interest. #WHUFC

However, as Sam Inkersole, the West Ham correspondent for Football.London, has claimed that the Irons are looking into applying a one-in-one-out system in the final days of the January transfer window, so for any player that comes in they want to allow one to leave.
That seems like a bold move for the Hammers to use, though. The squad is thin and they need to bulk it out with players, and the fans have taken obvious exception to this news, especially seeing as their Premier League status is in the balance.
Where will we be playing next season?
Premier League
Championship

We need a bigger squad so they decide to get rid of one to bring one in should be adding not taking away!!

We’ve already had enough out!!! How thin do they want our squad to be? Not that Sanchez counts as a player, but we sold 4 strikers in the summer + bought 2, where’s ‘one in, one out’ there?
— James Gunn (@jamesgunn_) January 27, 2020
That’s OK because we have a massive squad and can easily afford to let people go.

We sold about 15 players in the summer and brought in about 4 yet we are still doing 1 in 1 out

One in, one out will be a good appetizer when West Ham are involved in a three up, three down at the end of the season

We need to add to the squad tbh. It’s too thin.

The Hammers are desperate for signings, but certainly want to see their squad bulked out properly.
