Savio on his way?

It looks as though Savio is on his way out of Upton Park. The young forward has failed to make an impression since joining in a big money move last year.

Fiorentina sporting director Pantaleo Corvino has claimed that the Italians are set to sign Savio:

‘I’m considering Savio,’ said Carvino. ‘Negotiations with West Ham are under way but they have asked for [Manuel] da Costa in return.’

Da Costa is a defender who can play in the middle or on the right. This appears to indicate that he could be brought in as a replacement for Upson or Collins.

The deal would be a season-long loan.

Still no sign of another striker…..
