Without question, the arrival of Manuel Pellegrini has enhanced our pulling power in the transfer market. We’ve been able to acquire some incredibly talented players, and another that could be on the way is Genoa’s, Diego Laxalt.
According to Calcio Mercato, Genoa have slapped a €20M price tag on the services of Diego Laxalt who featured in the World Cup for Uruguay. While we’ve been linked with the 25-year-old for the majority of the summer transfer window, it has emerged that Napoli are also interested in the versatile player.
Laxalt is capable of operating at left-back or as a left-midfielder, and his arrival would provide the team with invaluable depth.

The 25-year-old is vastly experienced in one of the most tactical leagues in world football, and his versatility and tactical adaptability would be of tremendous benefit to us. At the age of 25, he has the potential to become a significant player for several years to come.
