West Ham have struggled to find their feet under Manuel Pellegrini in the Premier League this season, winning just two of their opening ten fixtures.
The results have left the Hammers languishing in the bottom half of the standings despite their vast summer spending spree, although the East London side have certainly faced a difficult list of fixtures to open the campaign.
Pellegrini has already come toe-to-toe with Tottenham, Chelsea, Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool this season, meaning only defending champions Manchester City are still to face from last year’s top-six.
While the results have not been good enough, plenty of fans on social media have stated they are pleased with the progress shown by Pellegrini so far and believe the Chilean boss has the Hammers on track to achieve better fortunes.
Some stated the need for further recruits in January, while another stated even Pep Guardiola needed a season to find his feet.
