News: West Ham starlet set to play his part for the senior side next season

|

West Ham fans have got some fantastic young talents to look forward to seeing in their senior side for years to come, and one of those is a mercurial wide man, currently out on loan in the EFL this season – and no – it’s not Grady Diangana this time around.

Instead, the man in question here is currently plying his trade at the Kassam Stadium for Oxford United, Nathan Holland. The youngster looks a real talent, and many fans were frustrated to see him leave on loan in January, but now it seems his future is certainly at the club.

According to the West Ham fan page Claret and Hugh, the winger is set to be apart of the club’s plans going forward as soon as next season, and that’s all that will matter to the fans, who are desperate to see more of their own homegrown stars in and around the first team.

Should Nathan Holland have been loaned?

Yes

No

The supporters will hope that more players can follow Holland if this does turn out to be true and make it to the senior side from the academy of football, but it will certainly be interesting to see if this does happen and Holland does get the opportunity to make his mark on the team.

The C&H article states:

‘West Ham see under 23 Nathan Holland as very much part of the club’s future despite regular rumours that he could be on his way from the club.’

‘The latest speculation is that Sheffield Wednesday – currently 12th in the Championship – see him as a possible target in the summer.’

‘Nathan is enjoying a successful loan spell at Oxford United and has helped lift them into seventh place in League One just outside the playoff zone. He has made nine League appearances and scored three times.’

‘The Hammers believe he is getting exactly the experience he requires with the club which knocked them out of the EFL Cup and continue to see his future at the London Stadium.’
