Responding to emerged footage courtesy of West Ham United’s official club account, a portion of our fan base has flocked to herald ex-player Kevin Nolan – re-living his past heroics and praising the ‘underrated‘ ex-Hammer on Twitter.
Nolan, who scored 31 goals and assisted 18 others in 157 club appearances for the Irons before departing for Leyton Orient in 2015, has now caught the attention of supporters once again following a montage of every single goal he scored for the club.
Perhaps his best season for us came in the Championship during the 2011/2012 campaign, with the midfielder playing an arguably pivotal role in our chase for promotion – scoring 12 goals and assisting six others as per Transfermarkt.
How did you rate Nolan's time at the Hammers?
Excellent
Average
Nolan also scored the opening goal in our 3-0 demolition of Cardiff City in the Championship play-off semi-final second leg, a strike which arguably sealed a place at Wembley where we secured promotion back to the top flight.
Here’s how Hammers lauded Nolan down below.
Nolan was a match winning player. His goal was often the difference in picking up 1 or 3 points or not.

Was always under appreciated by the majority of fans, but for me he was the right man at the right time. His goals and leadership led us back to the premier league and then kept us in it.
