West Ham confirmed on Wednesday that the 2018/19 season would be the last campaign as an Iron for Andy Carroll, Adrian and Samir Nasri, with the club opting against offering the trio new contracts.

Adrian and Carroll were both signed to permanent deals in the summer of 2013, and racked up a combined 292 appearances in all competitions over the following half-a-dozen seasons in Claret and Blue.

While the £15million man from Liverpool – who had spent the previous year at the club on loan – was a regular under Sam Allardyce when fit by that point, the 32-year-old shot-stopper signed from Real Betis had to wait until December 21 for his Premier League bow, in what was no easy task away at Old Trafford.

By the end of that season, Allardyce had established the £3.6million-rated Adrian as his number one between the sticks, and his blunder in his debut against Cheltenham Town was a distant memory.

Now that the Sevilla-born ‘keeper is leaving, though, fans have taken the chance to venture down memory lane to rekindle thoughts of what they consider to be his finest moment for the Hammers.
