‘Keep it up guys, we’re all proud…’ – Many West Ham fans react to club’s Twitter video

The Easter weekend is on its way, and with it comes the chance to change our form against Leicester City, having tasted defeat on the last three occasions we’ve taken to the field.

The club’s social media team, though, have got the fanbase reacting, after they posted a video on Twitter showing Michail Antonio strutting his way out to train as if Rush Green were his catwalk.

Antonio had become a fairly regular member of the first-team after New Years, but has found minutes harder to come by of late, with two 45 minute outings against Huddersfield and Everton leading up to our Manchester United defeat, where he was resigned to just 17 minutes.

The versatile 29-year-old has also failed to have an impact on the scoring since finding the back of the net against Fulham at the end of February, which brought his tally for the season to four goals and three assists.

It is highly likely that Manuel Pellegrini will have to turn to Antonio at the weekend, though, as Robert Snodgrass – who has been preferred by the boss of late – has been slapped with a one-match ban for abusing a UK anti-doping official.

When the club shared Antonio’s carefree attitude, though, there were not many fans looking forward to his likely start against the Foxes…
