The summer transfer window has been shut for well over a month, yet Declan Rice is still continuing to be linked with a move away from West Ham.
Man U have been interested for ages, even before Ole. It’s inevitable that the big clubs will be interested. It is up to us to decide whether we want to sell him or not. I expect both Man U and Chelsea to bid in the near future. The later worries me more. https://t.co/Ej7uT1Q3oO

The England international has this week seen the likes of Noel Whelan claim to Football Insider that Manchester United could bid upwards of £90m for the 20-year-old midfielder, and now popular West Ham ITK ExWHUemployee has revealed that Chelsea are also interested in Rice.
As expected, lots of West Ham supporters on social media were feeling nervous about the prospect of Rice leaving the Hammers to join the club he first played for as a teenager.
Here is what some Hammer fans had to say on Twitter…
We all know he’s gonna end up back at Chelsea, just a matter of when

He’s not West Ham his family are massive Chelsea fans he has no loyalty to us.

already made my mind up that he’ll leave, its just a matter of when, jan, summer, 2 sessions whatever. What we have to do is get the most from him on and off the pitch while hes with us. I think 80m+ would be a fair price for young England international to a desperate buying club

Tbf to him though. There is no loyalty in football anymore. And champions league is always a attraction for players.

If he goes for big money and works flat out in the meantime, can't disrespect him for that. He's got to earn it though, can't fault him so far

Just feels so inevitable, especially the route they’re going with FL incharge well if we don’t match his ambitions etc , good luck to him

Chelsea worries me a lot considering Mounts progress there. Would quite like to convince him to join West Ham instead

Rice recently admitted to The Evening Standard that he can see himself staying longer at West Ham for as long as club captain Mark Noble has.
