Just £13.3m: Player West Ham have submitted proposal for could thrive next to Rice – Opinion

|

According to a report by Marca, West Ham United have submitted a proposal for SD Eibar’s Joan Jordan.

The Spanish outlet state that Arsenal, Valencia, Sevilla and several other, albeit unnamed, English outfits are also thought to be interested in the player.

It is also claimed that the €15million (£13.3m) release clause Jordan has in his contract could also be negotiated, which would be a great thing for us considering we have a limited transfer budget this summer (Football.London).

We feel the Spaniard would be an excellent addition at the London Stadium this summer and would definitely be worth the maximum £13.3m transfer fee we could have to pay.

Jordan likes to run with the ball at defences and is not scared of having a shot at goal when he sees fit, having hit four goals this season. He is also rather creative and has an eye for a defence-splitting pass, as evident with his four assists in his 38 appearances across all competitions (Transfermarkt).

The Spaniard loves to take the ball from defence to attack and could provide West Ham with the fluidity they need in the middle of the park. The 24-year-old is also defensively sound and could potentially thrive in the system that Manuel Pellegrini likes to adopt, and we could reap some huge rewards sitting him next to Declan Rice.

The duo could strike an exceptional partnership and work in tandem as they both have styles of play that would compliment each other.

There appear to be no end to Jordan’s talents as his set-pieces are worth taking note of as well – giving the manager another option when attacking.

For just £13.3m, Jordan would be a steal and one we should look to bring to West Ham this summer.
