Lots of West Ham United fans have been having their say on midfielder Felipe Anderson and his future at the London Stadium.
The 27-year-old had a stunning first season with the Hammers following his £41.5m move from Lazio in 2018, and scored 10 goals as well as provided five assists in 40 appearances, as per TransferMarkt.
Should we replace Anderson with Diangana?
Yes
No
However, the former Brazil international has been unable to replicate this during his second campaign, only managing to score once from 26 outings.
According to The Times, Anderson is expected to leave the club after just two seasons at the club after coming under intense scrutiny during the 2019/20 campaign.
Because of this, supporters were satisfied that letting Anderson go at the end of the season was the right thing to do and made their feelings clear on social media. One fan said that he would “happily drive him to the airport”, while another described him as a “weak player”.
Good player but not the kinda player we need. We need players who can work hard, who can fight, who have the right mentality . Too many of these ‘flair’ players in our squad that don’t have the right character.
