Back in January, West Ham manager David Moyes faced the media in a press conference and he claimed that the Hammers would be looking to change their recruitment strategy to only sign ‘young and hungry’ players aged 25 and younger (whufc.com).
David Moyes has set a 25 year-old age ceiling on new signings and is likely to turn to the Championship and other European leagues to find young and hungry talent.

One West Ham fan account, though, in the void with little football being played, tweeted out this claim from Moyes and his intentions in the transfer market, and despite it being a very plausible and sensible idea on the face of things, many supporters have questioned it.
A few of them have been shooting down the idea entirely, claiming there’s no way that this will be stuck to as soon as David Sullivan spots a bargain veteran, and others have been quick to point out that there’s a fantastic bank of young players in the current West Ham academy.
Should we keep Moyes beyond the summer?
Yes
No

Heard it before. Wait until Sullivan sees a cheap 35 year old has been, who’s won a few trophies.

Only time will tell how Moyes get on implementing this system, but many fans are sceptical.
