Football fans can be extremely fickle, and that goes for all football fans, including West Ham supporters. However, as Pablo Fornals, the club’s £24m summer signing, has come under fire for recent performances, a number of Irons have been quick to defend the Spaniard.
I do truly believe that Fornals needs time to adapt to the league and a few of our fans need to give him a chance. We all have seen what he can do for his national team and Villarreal.
He has got unbelievable talent and and I know as the season goes on we will see it pic.twitter.com/ikeu0HY9zH

The 23-year-old attacking midfielder has had nothing in the way of a chance to settle and adapt to the football and culture in England at West Ham, and in his first five games for the club, coming as one start and four substitute appearances, he’s played in three different roles already, as per Transfermarkt.
The Irons who have been hammering Fornals for a couple of shaky early performances need to get their head straight and take a leaf out of the books of those whose tweets are included below, as the young midfielder will certainly come good, he just needs time.
You can read the Irons’ thoughts on Fornals here:
#PabloFornals has had next to no time on the field for us yet, and though he’s hardly set the world alight so far, you can see he has real quality.
Just give him time to adjust and time on the pitch and I’m confident he’ll shine for us.— Mick (@geoffpeters224) September 20, 2019
Agreed he should start Sunday

Spot on!
There are fans that have patience and understand football then there are fans with no patience and right a player off after 5min unfortunately.
If Pellegrini wanted him then I have great faith that fornals will a quality player

Too true, we should all remember how long it to Tevez to settle in, then he was on fire, so let’s give the lad some time, COYI,

The Hammers have been quick to defend Fornals, and good on them too, as the Spaniard was never going to be an overnight superstar, especially after moving to a new culture and environment at the age of just 23-years-old.
