Some West Ham United fans have been reacting to the news that the club could face a possible cash flow issue due to the lack of football, according to reports.
Premier League football has been postponed due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. With medical experts stating that the illness has yet to peak in the UK it is unlikely that we will see any action at the London Stadium anytime soon.
According to football.london, we are currently facing the prospect of a “projected cash flow hole” of between £60m-£80m, which fans will not be sympathetic towards club owners David Gold and David Sullivan over.
Do you agree with our stance on the furlough scheme?
Yes
No
The infamous duo are not held in high regard by the Hammers faithful after proving incapable of delivering on their promises, which has seen them lose faith in them altogether.
Unsurprisingly, supporters were not impressed with Gold and Sullivan and made their feelings clear on social media. One fan said that the excuses are “coming out already” in relation to a predicted lack of future investment in the team.
Something stinks here! So a massive cash flow hole yet they still only pay £2M for the stadium!?

Relying so heavily on TV money is such a stupid way of existing, glad we moved to gain more financial security though!

How ?we have hardly any staff compared to most clubs , we don’t own the stadium so we do not have to pay those staff
