When the footballing world turned into clubs taking to Twitter to post videos of great goals and famous moments from years gone by, it should come as no shock that the Hammers eventually found themselves marvelling at a strike from Julian Dicks left-foot.
Great goals. Tough tackles. No nonsense.

The former West Ham defender is an absolute hero as far as every single one of the fans is concerned. The supporters have got nothing but praise for the 51-year-old former left-back, and that comes as no shock seeing as he spent so long at the club.
The defender had two five-year stints with the Hammers amd across his time with the club he bagged some incredible goals with his hammer of a left foot, and the compilation of goals that the club put together for him certainly does Dicks justice.
Will West Ham stay up?
Yes
No

“No nonsense”. Wish we could bring that back to the club.

Proper Hammer. Old school and always gave 100%. Had pleasure of working with him when he was manager of our club last season @officialswifts too. Class act.

The fans clearly still love Dicks and would love to see him return to the club as a coach again one day.
