‘Clear and dominant victory’ – West Ham fans react to first victory since September

|

West Ham secured their first win in all competitions since September 22 as they beat Chelsea 1-0 at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.

The result was the Hammers first win in eight games and has helped to ease some pressure on manager Manuel Pellegrini, whose position has been under scrutiny at the club recently.

Aaron Cresswell scored the winner just after half time as he was able to find space after cutting inside and fired a low shot into the net.

The result helped to give West Ham some breathing space from the relegation zone as they moved four points clear and into 13th place.

Despite the result, it seems as if some fans are still split about the future of Manuel Pellegrini at the club.

The result was a relief for many West Ham fans and the team’s improved performance was well received as they gained a much needed three points. However, it seems as though some still aren’t happy with Pellegrini at the club and he may remain under pressure unless he manages to secure a good run of results.
