Ex-Hammer Christian Dailly has signed for friendly family club Charlton after impressing in a trial.
Dailly has recently been plying his trade for Rangers, but was released at the end of last season.
The curly-haired one, who is the archetypal salt-of-the-earth ‘professional’ will be remembered by Hammers for such gems as scoring an own goal against Millwall at the New Den. He also gave rise to one of the most amusing songs heard at Upton Park in recent years, altogether now
‘Oh Christian Dailly, you are the love of my life,
‘Oh Christian Dailly I’d let you sh……’
