The Spanish-born midfield man will leave the club at the age of 27-years-old with 116 games, three goals and three assists, Transfermarkt.
At times, the midfield man hasn’t been the most exciting Hammer to watch, but he leaves the fans with the memory of an absolutely stunning goal against Tottenham at Wembley in a 1-1 draw, and whilst he won’t be around to make more memories, he’s made them a tidy sum of money instead.
You can see what the Irons have had to say about Obiang’s imminent exit here…
Gonna miss him a bit ngl 🙁 Loved him back in the last season at the Boleyn

Excellent, shame to see him go but he wants to go back to Italy so fair enough. Will this money go into our transfer budget mate?

Will miss him, had one or two seasons before Rice took over where he was a composed, solid defensive mid. Seems like a lovely bloke too!

Best of luck Pedro! Your strike at Wembley was best thing I watched you do. Not a bad player by any means just not what we need to progress. Would rather kept him than Sanchez mind you so I hope he’s next!

The Irons will be sad to say goodbye to Obiang, although at least he’s not leaving under a cloud like Marko Arnautovic.
