Some West Ham United fans have concluded that Manuel Lanzini should be the one that leaves the club over his Brazilian teammate Felipe Anderson.
The 27-year-old has come under intense scrutiny during the current campaign after a series of inconsistent performances, with some concluding that he is incapable of getting back to his best.
Lanzini has only started 12 games this season during a season that has seen his game time vastly reduced, in comparison with his 31 starts during the 2016/17 campaign and has sharply declined since then.
One has got to go... which one?
Manuel Lanzini
Felipe Anderson
This season, he has failed to find the back of the net in any of the 19 games he has featured in and looks like a shadow of his former self since his move from United Arab Emirates club Al Jazira in 2016.
With this in mind, supporters believed that the Argentinian should be the one to leave the club and made their feelings clear on social media. One fan said that he has “been screaming this for so long”.
Lanzini will go for around 10 million if he’s offski. Sadly I don’t think he’s going to become the player, many thought he would.

How anyone could argue against this is beyond me. Would rather get 15m for Lanzini (and buy Eze to replace him) than get 25-30m for Anderson

West Ham should only be looking to sell two midfielders during the next transfer window – Lanzini and Yarmolenko. What with a Sanchez being out of contract, this will get rid of three highly inconsistent and ineffective midfielders at the club. Sad to see Lanzini decline so far.
