West Ham fans have had a rough time as of late, but the signs are there that things are starting to turn around, and the win over Southampton on the south coast on the weekend was one of those signs. Now, though, as the January transfer window approaches the rumours are swirling.

The Hammers are being linked with a few players, but the latest chat from the fans has come as one of their stars is being linked with a move away from the London Stadium. That man is Fabian Balbuena, and it’s claimed by Calcio Mercato that AC Milan want the Paraguayan.
The Hammers defender is one of the club’s three central defenders that we’ve seen plenty of over the last couple of years alongside Issa Diop and Angelo Ogbonna, and it’s hard to see a way in which Manuel Pellegrini lets him leave unless it’s a big bid that comes in.
You can read the Hammers’ thoughts on the Balbuena links here:
Hard player to put a price on really, personally wouldn’t sell.

Looked better the last couple of games. I think we could find someone better if he was moved on however.

If we could work a swap deal for Kessie including him then yes. But otherwise I wouldn’t sell as he is great backup.

Awesome 25-30m and he’s theirs!

The Irons have got a lot of time for Balbuena, and it seems they want to hold onto the South American.
