According to Gazzetta dello Sport – via Inside Futbol – Red Bull Leipzig are the latest side to join the race for Edin Dzeko.
The striker has been linked with a number of clubs in recent times and we have been one of those named as apparently interested – though to varying degrees of interest it must be said.
Even so, any report about him is going to generate some form of intrigue and it looks as though, if we want him, things have got that little bit harder to try and get a deal in place.
For sure, the more clubs that are keen on him the tougher it will be to try and sign him and Leipzig are obviously an ambitious side trying to make real waves in Germany.
Personally, I wouldn’t be that fussed if we didn’t get Dzeko – he is getting on now – but if the club wants him they are going to have to fight for him.
