West Ham’s latest transfer link could be a great addition to Moyes’ squad

According to several reports, the Hammers are interested in signing highly-rated Club Brugge winger Noa Lang and he would be a great signing for the club.

The Netherlands international is apparently on West Ham’s radar leading up to the January transfer window, according to Belgian outlet Voetbal Belgie.

The report suggests that the Brugge trickster would cost around €40million (£34million), which would be a record fee for a player in the Belgian’s top division.

West Ham would have to compete with the likes of AC Milan, Arsenal, Leeds United and Borussia Mochengladbach, as the 22-year-old continues to attract attention from Europe’s biggest leagues for his excellent performances.

The former Ajax winger scored 16 goals and produced 11 assists in all competitions last season, helping his side storm the league by a massive 16 points and take home the title.

During this year’s campaign, he has already scored another four goals and produced 6 assists in 18 appearances – continuing his electric form from last season.

The 5ft 10in winger is known for his incredible dribbling abilities and passing accuracy on the pitch, and he is also a player who can evidently find the back of the net as he has shown since moving to the Belgian league.

Although it may seem like a lot of money for a player who lacks experience in a top-five league, this could be a very exciting signing for the Hammers.

His playing style will definitely match with the rest of the squad, and David Moyes would make sure that he adapts to the team’s hard-working and high-energy game plan.

West Ham are currently a side with a lot of depth in the midfield and therefore he would have to prove himself to the club before jumping straight into the side.

However, Lang is definitely a very exciting talent that could potentially be an excellent signing for the club. And when West Ham are linked with a player that has drawn comparisons to the likes of Dimitri Payet – then his purchase is worth considering.
