West Ham transfer gamble isn’t paying off right now, another blow…

|

The Hammers take on Manchester United this weekend as we head to Old Trafford to try and beat the Red Devils.

It’s always a game that evokes some famous memories for us – perhaps not always good – but nonetheless, I think it’s a real classic Premier League fixture.

That said, it only offers the same three points as any other, and I do think that we have a chance against them because they aren’t what they used to be.

Whoever plays, though, they’ll have to get the job done, once again, without Samir Nasri:

Signed in the last window, there were always going to be some concerns about his fitness and it seems as though the gamble is not paying off.

I like Nasri, and we have seen he has something to offer in the final third but, boy, does he get injured often.

They’re niggly things but, right now, you have to argue we’ve not got the return we should have for a player of his talents.
