West Ham star offers reminder of his quality with outstanding display

|

With all the problems that Marko Arnautovic has had in recent times from his failed move to China, which was reported by the Telegraph, it can be easy to forget he is a brilliant player on his day.

He did highlight this towards the end of the 2018/19 Premier League campaign, as he assisted the only goal against Tottenham and bagged a brace against Southampton, before rounding off the season with a goal against Watford.

The club season may have ended, but with some fans wishing him out of the door after the Daily Star reported interest in his signature from Inter Milan, he has offered another reminder of what he is capable of while on international duty with Austria.

Arnautovic scored a brace to help his nation to a 4-1 away win against Northern Macedonia, smashing a penalty into the roof of the net for his first and then heading in a Marcel Sabitzer cross.

On top of the brace, the Austria captain won the man of the match award, completed both of his attempted dribbles, played two key passes and created two big chances.

There are questions from some about Arnautovic’s attitude, but there is no doubting his ability to impact a game.
