With only a few weeks remaining in the transfer window, it seems that the club’s transfer business has intensified as we look to conclude deals for possible targets. One such player is Hatem Ben Arfa who is a free agent following the expiration of his contract with PSG.
According to Foot 365 journalist, Nizar Hanini, as cited by Get Football France News, we’ve entered the battle to sign the free agent. The 31-year-old only made 32 appearances during his two-year spell with the French champions, and he could prove to be a very interesting option.
Verdict:
Notoriously, Hatem Ben Arfa has proven to be a difficult player to manage. That said, he is exceedingly talented and could prove to be an intriguing option for us. Following the arrivals of Felipe Anderson and Andriy Yarmolenko, another winger certainly isn’t a priority, but the former Newcastle winger would provide treasured competition and depth in attacking areas.
