Despite the volume of signings that we’ve already completed in the summer transfer window, our business is primed to continue. And, Juventus’ Stefano Sturaro could be another player to make the move to the London Stadium, this summer.

As JuveNews.Eu reports, as cited by Claret and Hugh, the agent of Stefano Sturaro has confirmed that the Juventus midfielder has received an offer from West Ham United, among other clubs. Leicester City have also made a bid for the Italian midfielder, but Sturaro is allegedly unsure of his future.

Due to this uncertainty, his agent has revealed that he doesn’t believe a move is imminent.

The following quotes are from JuveNews.Eu

“In reality there’s not the air of an imminent sale. There are several offers on Juve’s table to evaluate. Anything can happen in football, because there are in fact many offers. There’s not only the big clubs West Ham and Leicester, but at least four other clubs interested in my client, who doesn’t have a preferred destination. We’re just waiting for a decision by the Bianconeri.”

With rumours circulating, linking Obiang and Kouyate with moves away from a club, the prospect of signing another midfielder seems logical. Sturaro is a combative midfielder, who is regarded for his defensive qualities. The Italian is an accomplished tackler, and his ball retention is particularly good.

What are your thoughts? Do you agree? Let us know!

  • Words like An accomplished tackler and good ball retention are music to West Ham fans ears!

However the way noble and Rice played as a defensive partnership there may not now quite the pressing need to sign a quality defensive midfielder.
