West Ham fans will need to change their travel plans this September

West Ham supporters will need to change the travel plans they may have made for September games, as the date and time of two fixtures have been altered.

The Hammers’ away tie against Aston Villa will now be at 20:00 GMT on Monday 16th September, meaning any travelling fans will need to find something to occupy themselves with during the weekend other than a West Ham away day.

This will be the first time West Ham have played Villa since Boxing Day 2015, which ended as a 1-1 draw, in which Aaron Cresswell scored the Hammers’ only goal.

The home game against Manchester United has also been changed, though at least it is on the weekend, with action at London Stadium set to kick off at 14:00 GMT on Sunday 22nd September.

The only one outside of September to change so far is the Hammers’ season opener against Manchester City, which now has a changed kick off time of 12:30 GMT, but will still be played on Saturday 12th August.

No matter when the matches are played, it is going to be great to see the men in claret and blue back out on the pitch, especially with the signs pointing towards an exciting campaign at London Stadium.
