Transfer reveal should have Hammers hoping West Ham have summer strategy sorted

|

West Ham will be looking to strengthen their side in the summer considerably – you would hope – and build on what has been an okay but unspectacular season.

Certainly, it was nice to not have any threat of relegation for most of this campaign and as we head into the final day we can look back on some good wins against the bigger sides in the league.

There is potential there, then, and we need to add to that with some shrewd signings – with Ex Whu Employee on Twitter suggesting we’re going to.

Indeed, they are of the opinion that Hector Herrera could well be a target in the summer, on a free, and that would be a good signing:

One thing the Hammers need in midfield is a real box-to-box player.

Jack Wilshere and Mark Noble are not mobile enough whilst Declan Rice is a different central player.

With Pedro Obiang’s future up in the air, Herrera could be perfect and it suggests the Hammers have got a plan this summer, which is always a good sign.
