Still trying to come to terms with the loss yesterday, when the Hammers were beaten by a stoppage-time goal from Wolves, I thought I’d revisit our pre-match poll whereby we asked you to predict the result of the game.
In our poll, we listed three options:
• West Ham to win
• Wolves to win
and
• A Draw
As it turns out, the result was very comprehensive.
Ahead of the kick-off, a mere 18% expected West Ham to win and a similar percentage were of the view the game would end in a draw.
However, a massive 64% opted for the Wolves to win option, which would indicate to me that the poll was either infiltrated by Wolves supporters or our recent form had given you no cause to believe there would be an end to the misery, I wonder which it was?
