Not too long ago, on the back of starting the 2018 / 2019 season with two defeats, we used our poll facility to ask a very pertinent question.

We wanted to know, following the poor start, whether you believed that Manuel Pellegrini was the man for the Hammers hot-seat.

The result showed that you were a patient lot with 40% going for the ‘Ask Me After Ten Games’ option, with a further 36% going for the ‘Yes’ option.

Only 24% were of the opinion that he wasn’t the man for the job, opting for the ‘No’ option.

Two weeks down the road and nothing, as far as results go, has changed. Four games into the season and we’ve suffered four straight defeats.

Despite this shocking statistic, it appears that, according to the news vehicle, the Mirror, Pellegrini is in no imminent danger of being axed.

But, on the back of four straight defeats, have your stances changed?

Please take this opportunity to vote in our poll facility below:

We’ll see if you are wavering or are staying loyal to the Chilean.

  • I wanted David Moyes to be given a chance. He definitely saved us from relegation last season and he had to work with a very poor squad. Pellegrini is a “cad” – he won the title with City so what ? My Auntie Doris could probably have done that with the squad he inherited. Now, he’s spent 100mil and we look even worse than last season.
Where’s the holding midfielder ? where’s the centre forward ? – we seem to have a team of wide men with nobody in the middle ! The lack of commitment and desire also needs to be questioned – the team look like they are playing with concrete in their boots – stick with Pellegrini and we are doomed Captain Mainwaring.
Trouble is, who would we now get in to get us out of this mess and worse still, we have to wait until January
    until window reopens.
