Sack the Board

The disenchantment grows!

Not for the first time this season, the West Ham travelling support made their feelings known when it came to the performance of the side.

On the back of what was perceived to be a bad week for West Ham, with the Tony Henry sacking, the racism slurs and the poor activity in the transfer market, the travelling support regularly chanted,

“Sack the Board”

At the AMEX Stadium.

Moving to the London Stadium was supposed to be the gateway to glory, there was talk of challenging for Champions League places, in reality we`ve slipped backwards.

You can`t hide behind injuries, every club suffers from them, but the lack of transfer activity, on deadline day peeved the support.

Andre Ayew and Diafra Sakho were sold and the Hammers took a punt on a striker, Jordan Hugill, who has yet to prove himself in the Premier League. Moyes spoke about bringing in midfield reinforcements but only succeeded in bringing in Joao Mario, who had struggled at his previous club.

Now whether the board will listen remains to be seen but there is growing disenchantment amongst the Hammers support.
