West Ham United have joined the race to sign the out-of-favour defender Nathaniel Clyne, according to reports.
The 29-year-old will be out of contract once the 2019/20 campaign comes to an end and is set to become a free agent.
Clyne has not featured at all this season after suffering an anterior cruciate ligament rupture during our pre-season tour of the USA last summer.
With football currently suspended, it has given the right-back time to catch up with his fitness and is now ready to return to training.
With the Reds two games away from winning the Premier League, he could be seeking a new opportunity in his career.
According to Goal, we are alongside the likes of Crystal Palace and Bournemouth have shown interest in the former Saints star.

Having endured a spell down on the South Coast with the Cherries, it may seem that they would be favourites to capture the former England international.
With the Premier League extending contracts until June 23rd, it will give Clyne more time to determine his imminent future, having not had talks of a new deal at Anfield.
Clyne moved to Liverpool from Southampton for £12.5m in 2015. During that time, he has scored just twice and provided five assists in 103 appearances.
Unfortunately, his career has been hampered by physical setbacks and has missed a total of 97 games through injury, the former being a serious back injury which saw him miss 44 outings.
I wonder whether or not his injuries have finished him off. I’m not complaining about the free transfer, but his wages and availability could be a concern which we could use to develop Jeremy Ngakia.
Then again, he could be the experienced individual that replaces the outgoing Pablo Zabaleta. Who knows. For me, there is more to lose than there is to gain.
