There is only one way that Nathan Holland is going, and that way is up.
The youngster has been truly impressive for the West Ham United U23s, with a stunning return of 12 goals from 13 appearances in the Premier League 2.
The 21-year-old moved to League Two side Oxford United on loan until the end of the current campaign. With the football season currently on hold, it is unclear whether he will play again for Karl Robinson’s side, which is unfortunate as he managed to find the net three times from 12 outings.
His frightening turn of pace and his ability on the ball not only scares the life of defenders, but also his own teammates.
Emmanuel Longelo, who plays alongside Holland in the U23s, previously admitted he is relieved that he does not have to go up against him, and described him as a “natural talent”.

Holland is an exciting prospect. Typically a left-winger, his finishing is considered as one of his strongest assets and his goal return backs that up.
The 21-year-old loves to cut inside and dribble past defenders in a manner where it appears to look so simple, which is what the good players do.
Does he have what it takes to break into the West Ham first team? Absolutely. With the likes of Andriy Yarmolenko and Felipe Anderson reported to be on their way out once the 2019/20 campaign draws to a close, there could be a passage for him into the side to make his first-team debut.
Holland could become manager David Moyes’ secret weapon in his arsenal, and one that could be utilised to full effect with the correct application and player development. Who knows what he could achieve in the game.
