Pellegrini’s Stock Is Rising Amongst The Hammers Support

After the elation of gaining those first three points of the season, away to Everton, the Hammers put on a solid performance, against Chelsea, to stretch their unbeaten run to two games.

It was a result that could have been better but for some poor finishing.

In analysing the game, and as reported by the BBC, Manuel Pellegrini had this to say:

“It was a good point against the leaders and a team that scored 14 goals in the first five games.

“It was a close game, and we had two clear chances and they had one.

“We would prefer to have some more possession, but it was a good tactical game and at least we did not lose it.”

Interestingly, after losing the first four games of the season and with the possibility of Pellegrini not being the right man for the job being discussed, the Chilean appears to have turned things around, as several posts on social media would seem to indicate:

It’s amazing how fickle football supporters are, including ourselves we might add.
