Back on August 21, after the Hammers had slipped to a second defeat, against Bournemouth, in their opening to games, we, devilishly, used our new poll facility to ask a very pertinent question.
With no points from the first to games, against Liverpool (a) and Bournemouth (h), we asked the question:
Is Pellegrini the Man for the Job?
We left you three options to choose from:
• Yes
• No
and
• Ask me after 10 games.
We are now in a position to reveal the results.
It appears that the Chilean, ahead of the trip to Arsenal, still had your full support with 36% going for the yes option and another 40% wanting to wait until the Hammers had played ten games before making their minds up.
Only 24% went for the no option believing that Pellegrini wasn’t the man for the job.
Now, with the Hammers having lost their opening three games, I wonder whether the percentages would change dramatically?
Your thoughts on the subject matter, in our comments facility, would be greatly appreciated.
