Opinion: When West Ham start finds his groove, the London Stadium will really erupt

Pablo Fornals is by no means a poor player. The Spaniard is an U21 European champion and has got all of the tools to make it as a top player in the Premier League. However, whilst he continues to find his feet he needs to be given time to adapt and get used to living and playing football in England.

The Premier League is unlike any other league in the world, but against Manchester United, the Spaniard was certainly impressive and made a lot of smart decisions in possession as the Irons recorded a strong 2-0 win against the Red Devils.

After the game, Fornals spoke to the West Ham website and was vocal about the amazing atmosphere inside The London Stadium as they overcame Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side to move three points ahead of them in the Premier League and into 5th in the Premier League.

With Fornals being the club’s first summer signing in 2019, the £24m fee (BBC) is one that a lot of people may have forgotten about. It was a deal done so early in the window that the Spaniard then went off to play for his country’s U21s and win the Euros.

If he can find similar form and link up with the likes of Manuel Lanzini and Felipe Anderson in the same way that he did with Dani Olmo and Mikel Oyarzabal over the summer then the Irons will be set to benefit massively, but it will take time.

If he’s already loving the atmosphere at home, though, then it can only be a sign of good things to come for the young attacking midfielder. At the age of 23-years-old, there is a lot that the midfield man can bring, and it’s just about bringing that out over the course of the season.
