News: West Ham fans delivered incredibly exciting update on the future of GSB

|

The media storm and fan opinion surrounding the ownership of West Ham United has become a major talking point in the last few weeks. David Gold, David Sullivan and Karren Brady have owned the Hammers for over ten years now, and the progress they’ve made has been nothing short of embarrassing.

The only major change that has happened has been the relocating from the much-loved Boleyn Ground to the soulless bowl of the London Stadium, and that is a move that has gone down like a lead balloon amongst the supporters, who have hated every minute at their new stadium.

However, this is not all doom and gloom, and whilst it must be pointed out how inept, unpopular and disgraceful GSB have been as the owners of the Stratford club, there are rumours brewing that there could be parties who are interested in buying the London club.

According to Football Insider, the Saudi Arabian-funded consortium who have been touted with a move to buy Newcastle United could be set to turn their attention towards West Ham after no breakthroughs have been made in a £340m bid to buy Newcastle from Mike Ashley.

The article states:

‘The Saudi Arabian-backed consortium that has been in talks to buy Newcastle United may switch attention to taking over West Ham.’

‘The Gulf Nation’s sovereign wealth fund have held detailed discussions over the last month about buying Newcastle for £340million but no deal has been agreed.’

‘There are growing whispers the Saudi group could target a sensational takeover of West Ham instead.’

Will GSB sell up?

Yes

No

‘Co-owners David Sullivan and David Gold have become as deeply unpopular with Hammers fans as Mike Ashley has at Newcastle.’

‘There is an increasingly toxic atmosphere at the London Stadium, and many supporters are furious at what they feel are broken promises from the board as the club face a fight to avoid Premier League relegation.’
