With the January transfer window set to close on Wednesday evening, it appears that Joe Hart is looking to exit the club.

The goalkeeper, on loan from Manchester City for the season, has recently lost his place in the starting eleven with David Moyes preferring to start with Adrian.

As a consequence, although Hart is one of the highest earners at the club, Hart has spent a considerable period on the bench, devoid of Premier League action.

Subsequently, with the 2018 World Cup, in Russia, looming large, the 30-year-old is concerned that a lack of first-team action could see his place as England`s first-choice goalkeeper disappear, furthermore, there`s a chance he could be omitted from the squad altogether.

Therefore, it`s probably not coming as too much of a surprise to learn, according to The Times, the keeper is hoping for a move to another club.

But, and it is a big but, West Ham are unlikely to let Hart go for fear of not having adequate cover if Adrian were to pick up an injury.

As the closure of the January transfer window looms we`ll keep an eye out for any further developments and report back as deemed necessary.
