With Diafra Sakho having gotten his desired move to French football, could the Hammers be about to wave goodbye to another striker before the transfer window slams shut?

If you believe the transfer tittle-tattle that could well be the case!

The good folk of the leading tabloid publication this nation produces, The Sun, are reporting that Swansea City, like a dog with a bone, are refusing to give up in their chase to take Andre Ayew back to the Liberty Stadium.

According to our referenced source, the relegation threatened Welsh side are looking to persuade West Ham United Football Club to accept a fee of £18 million for the Ghanaian striker who has, to put it mildly, been a bit hit and miss since arriving at the club.

If that is the case then we could see another striker joining Sakho on the exodus trail when it only seems a few minutes ago that David Moyes was pledging none of his strikers would be sold unless the Hammers received silly money.

With Carroll injured, Sakho gone and Ayew supposedly heading from whence he came, we`re expecting there to be a drastic search for an addition to the striking ranks before the transfer window slams shut on Wednesday evening!
