Hammers given idea of when some normality may return to club

|

Speaking to the West Ham Way podcast, reliable Irons source exWHU-employee has revealed that the club is due to be back in training on April 10th, as a sense of normality could well resume if that is the case.

We remain in the grip of a global pandemic but stringent measures are in place in this country and the hope will be that the season can return on its pencilled in date of 30th April – though that is, of course, subject to change given the nature of the thing that we’re dealing with.

Even so, if all stays to plan, the players will be back in training in a couple of weeks from now and that is something fans will be hoping can take place.

ExWHU-employee revealed:

“The players are due back into training on the 10th of April. That’s assuming that the season is going to start when they have postponed it to. If it is delayed any longer, I guess they will delay that back.”

The right approach?

Yes

No

Of course, it’s hard to say right now whether that will happen but, if it’s safe, the sooner it is sorted and we can get on with our lives the better.

This is a situation no-one on the planet has experienced before, and it’s natural that no-one can say for certain when it’s going to end.

However, the hope will be that the right decisions have been made so that we can get to a sense of normality in the next month or so – fingers firmly crossed.
