West Ham secured back-to-back PremierLeague wins for the first time this season after seeing off Cardiff City in midweek, following on from their triumph against Newcastle United at the weekend.
Second-half goals from Lucas Perez, who scored a brace, and Michail Antonio gave the Hammers a comfortable cushion, although they were stripped of a clean sheet right at the depth due to Josh Murphy’s consolation effort for the visitors.
The victory at the London Stadium included plenty of subplots as West Ham lost Marko Arnautovic to injury but welcomed Andy Carroll back from his latest setback – although it is clear fans want more from the experienced forward.
Carroll played the final 26 minutes of the win after his introduction from the bench but had fingers pointed his way after Cardiff’s late goal, with many accusing him of poor defending and blaming him for the lack of a clean sheet.
We have gathered some of the comments from the supporters below.
Not to toooo picky but Carroll could have done much better defensively there! Back to back wins though, COYI!

So months and months of waiting millions of pounds paid out in wages and this is what we get on his return 😠
Thought he was meant to be a hard man header of the ball
