West Ham were extremely busy during the summer transfer window as Manuel Pellegrini splashed the cash on his arrival, spending in excess of £100m to rejuvenate his squad at the London Stadium.
A significant outlay was spent to bring the likes of Lukasz Fabianski, Felipe Anderson, Issa Diop, Fabian Balbuena and Andriy Yarmolenko to the club, amongst others, but there was also a number of pieces of outgoing business.
One player who left West Ham in the summer was talented youngster Domingos Quina, who moved to join Premier League rivals Watford in hunt of more regular playing time – and he made his Premier League debut for the club in the defeat to Manchester City last night.
Despite the Hornets suffering a 2-1 defeat to the Premier League title favourites, Quina caught the eye for an impressive display in midfield and fans were excited by the performance of the 19-year-old talent.
It seems they feel they made a great addition by snatching the teenager’s services off West Ham and we have gathered some of their comments below.
Great to see Quina on the last night #watfordfc He doesn’t care about reputation and who he is playing against, He gets stuck in, can see a pass, looks quick has a shot on him and has so much confidence.Needs to be involved now much more played great vs Spurs now City top teams

We need to see more of Quina
Chalobah is still not quite there

Quina looked quality. Wanted the ball and didn’t look overawed in such company. Baller, potential.. did a lot more than Doucs too #watfordfc

Quina looks more composed than every single one of our other midfielders.
Doesn't fear City at all whilst the others look petrified to have the ball for more than 0.05 seconds.
Hope the lad gets more game time over the rest of the season, clearly talented and can create something— LH (@lee_harris6) December 4, 2018
I think it's time to start Domingos Quina. Been excellent whenever called upon
