Lots of West Ham United fans on Twitter were delighted to see the return of a club hero on Monday as he hooked up with the rest of the squad for pre-season training.

It was Declan Rice, who arrived to the camp late having been given a couple more weeks off than the rest due to his Nations League commitments with England.
The Hammers posted a video of the 20-year-old arriving at their team’s hotel at their current training base at Bad Ragaz in Switzerland to prepare for his fourth campaign in the senior set-up.
And members of the Claret & Blue Army reacting to the clip were delighted to see Rice back following his Three Lions exploits and looking to get down to work.
Comments such as “future captain” and “class” flew around the Twittersphere in the wake of the video, along with messages of pride in Rice and unending praise.
